MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas – A human/trafficking/prostitution sting has netted 75 arrests in Montgomery County, including 28 female prostitutes.
The law enforcement team of the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office and the Human Trafficking Rescue Alliance with local, state and federal officers from across the region conducted the "Operation Cross County" sting from Oct. 15-31.
Members of the sting, in an undercover capacity, posed as "johns" and "prostitutes" during the two-week-long operation.

Also included with the 75 arrested were 32 accused "johns" and 11 accused "pimps."
The Sheriff's Office said five victims were also rescued including a 16-year-old runaway.
