Woman charged with making bomb threat at Bush Airport

HOUSTON – According to a release from Frontier Airlines, a passenger on a flight from Houston to Detroit made a bomb threat as the plane was preparing to leave the gate.

Passengers were removed from the plane, then local and federal authorities conducted a security sweep. They did not find anything of concern.

According to HPD the woman was taken into custody and charged with making a terroristic threat.

The flight was scheduled to take off at 2:54 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

Frontier Airlines says all the passengers will be reaccommodated on a later flight.

According to the Bush Airport departure board, it is scheduled to depart at 10:15pm
