HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A 54-year-old Alvin man accused of making sexually explicit online messages to someone he believed was a 15-year-old girl was arrested Thursday near Pearland, according to Harris County Precinct One Constable Alan Rosen.
Investigators say the “15-year-old” was actually an undercover detective with Precinct One’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit.

Court records state the year-long investigation began in August 2025 when Pedro Solis allegedly messaged that he was sitting naked in his driveway waiting for an Amazon delivery, then sent a photo of himself from the waist down.
Records say Solis referenced exposing himself to delivery drivers and neighbors repeatedly over the following months, including messages about waiting for Amazon packages with his window blinds open.
Authorities say Solis was still making plans to meet the undercover detective the morning of his arrest.
Solis is charged with online solicitation of a minor, a third-degree felony punishable by two to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine. Pearland police assisted with the arrest.
“Predators beware, our detectives patrol cyber space and they will catch you,” Rosen said in a statement, adding the case is a reminder for parents to monitor children’s internet activity.
