LIST: Bars where you can watch the FIFA World Cup around Houston

Can’t snag a ticket to Houston Stadium? No problem. The bar scene in Houston has you covered for all the FIFA 2026 World Cup games.

Here are some of the best spots with free admission around H-Town where you can still watch every goal and have some fun doing it.

1. Kirby Ice House | 3333 Eastside St. (four locations citywide) | 11 a.m.-2 a.m.

The self-proclaimed “original home of Houston’s biggest backyard” is going all out for the World Cup with more than 40,000 square feet of total party space, throwing watch parties for six Houston match days — June 11-12, June 14, June 17, June 22 and June 26.

All four locations are 21-and-up, dog-friendly and built for the party, with jumbo backyard screens, endless outdoor gaming space and massive drink lineups.

Plus, there will be specials on 22-ounce drinks and if you book a Happy Hour even with at least 25 people, you will earn a $25 gift card.

Doors open at 11 a.m. on every match day, doors will open as early as 10:30 a.m. for early arrivals.


2. Christian’s Tailgate | 2820 White Oak Dr. (three locations citywide) | Sun.-Thu. 11 a.m.-midnight; Fri.-Sat. 11 a.m.-2 a.m.

Christian’s Tailgate is going to have plenty of fun and prizes. The Heights staple plans to host watch parties for every World Cup match, kicking things off on Friday, June 12, from 5-8 p.m. with a soccer shootout for a chance to win FIFA Tickets.

Admission is free, and hours of operation are Sunday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.


3. Velvet Oak Tavern | 2221 W. Alabama St. | Mon.-Fri. 2 p.m.-midnight; Sat.-Sun. 11 a.m.-midnight

The tavern is already the unofficial headquarters of the Houston Gooners Arsenal supporters group, so it is safe to say they know how to throw a party. The bar will show games from June 11th through the July 19th final.

It will also celebrate its third anniversary on June 13 with a jersey run that includes all-you-can-eat crawfish, live music and karaoke.


4. Texas T Tavern | 1535 Brittmoore Rd. | 11 a.m.-2 a.m.

At Texas T Tavern, they are bringing the World Cup’s Dutch spirit and will remain open daily starting 11 a.m. until 2 a.m. throughout the tournament. The spot will feature the legendary Dutch orange bus traveling from the Netherlands, daily food options, free parking, drink specials, and special Heineken giveaways.


5. Red Lion Pub | 2316 S. Shepherd Dr. | Mon.-Fri. 11 a.m.-2 a.m.; Sat.-Sun. 10 a.m.-midnight

This old-school British pub is airing all FIFA World Cup matches with audio on. There will be servings of its famous fish and chips and a $10 Casamigos margarita, which includes a free taco. Happy hour runs until 7 p.m. No reservations are required, but they are available upon request.


6. Tom’s Watch Bar | 1201 Caroline St., Suite 161

This bar has screens covering practically every surface of the place with FIFA matches, so fans won’t miss a second of the action. They are offering plenty of specials, including a VIP experience with no lines, premium seating, and gift bags. Guests can also show off their Southern pride by hopping on a mechanical bull and trying some line dancing.


7. On The Kirb | 5004 Kirby Dr. | Mon.-Thu. 4 p.m.-11 p.m.; Fri. 4 p.m.-midnight; Sat. 11 a.m.-midnight; Sun. 11 a.m.-11 p.m.

With multiple Houston-area locations, On The Kirb makes it easy to find a watch party close to home. Whether you want to be downtown or in Katy, there are options. There will be music, organic food from the scratch kitchen, and local brews. Kickoff for the big party starts at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 11.


8. Social Beer Garden HTX | 3101 San Jacinto St. | Mon.-Thu. 3 p.m.-2 a.m.; Fri.-Sun. noon-2 a.m.

At this spot, it doesn’t matter what language you speak. The World Cup will be shown in both Spanish and English, with every game airing throughout the tournament.

Its famous 20-foot TV screen will provide a great view, and there will be multiple food vendors, along with free private parking and Wi-Fi.


9. Hugh O’Connors | 7620 Katy Freeway, No. 350 | Mon.-Wed. 4 p.m.-midnight; Thur.-Fri. 2 p.m.-midnight; Sat.-Sun.11 a.m.-midnight.

This Irish pub in the Energy Corridor brings a classic pub atmosphere with plenty of TVs, solid grub and a welcoming crowd. Every game will be shown, accompanied by food and drink specials and karaoke. Hours vary, but doors will open at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 11, for Mexico vs. South Africa at 2 p.m.


10. Pitch 25 | 2120 Walker St. | Mon.-Thu. 3 p.m.-2 a.m.; Fri. 3 p.m.-midnight; Sat. 11 a.m.-2 a.m.; Sun. 8 a.m.-2 a.m.

Pitch 25 is an all-inclusive place for soccer fans. With an indoor soccer field, gaming space and a beer garden, it’s hard to imagine the venue won’t be fun.
