Since Hodge’s arrest, he has had additional charges added, including continuous sexual abuse of a child, indecency with a child by sexual contact, and criminal solicitation of a child (sexual assault of a child).
His combined bond is $425,000.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office said in its original post about the arrest that up to five victims have been identified. Court documents are shedding new details on three of the charges against Hodge.
One of the victims said Hodge first began assaulting her when she was 12. The documents allege Hodge began forcing the victim to give him back rubs and also gave her back rubs when she was 15.
He would allegedly make comments such as the “Bible says it’s the right thing to do.” During these sessions, Hodge allegedly sexually assaulted the victim and also threatened to beat her and “kill everyone” if she told anyone.
Another female victim alleged Hodge had assaulted her five or six times over the past year, according to the documents.
A separate charge of criminal solicitation of a child was added based off of the allegations of a male child victim, mentioned in the court documents.
According to the documents, the male victim alleged that Hodge asked him to perform a sex act on him, and the victim rejected the advances. Hodge then allegedly told the victim not to tell anyone.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office said Hodge had been a volunteer at several local churches in the county. Officials are continuing to ask anyone who believes they may have been a victim to come forward.
