The investigation started on Wednesday, May 27, after deputies received multiple reports of ongoing sexual abuse by Hodge. After beginning the investigation, deputies identified at least five victims with additional victims continuing to come forward.
The sheriff’s office says Hodge was a volunteer at several local churches and anyone with information regarding this case, or who believes they may have been a victim is encouraged to contact CID Sergeant Kayla Hemperly at the Polk County Sheriff’s Office at 936-327-6810.
