Man’s body recovered in the Houston Ship Channel

GALVESTON, Tx – The Coast Guard crew reported seeing a body in the water a little after 10 am.

Galveston Island Beach Patrol along with the police department, fire department, and EMS responded.

They recovered the adult male’s body about 20 minutes later.

Chief Kirwin with Galveston Island Beach Patrol says they don’t have much information on the deceased man and that the medical examiner’s office will determine the cause of death and identify the man.
