LIVINGSTON, Texas – Livingston police say two people were arrested Monday after a possible pipe bomb was found near a home.

It happened on Banks Drive in Livingston after authorities were notified of a possible pipe bomb. Officers responded, evacuating nearby homes and set up a perimeter.
Help was requested from the Montgomery County Bomb Squad and the ATF. Technicians were able to safely disable the device.
Police say a search warrant was executed at a nearby home where more explosive components were found. The residents of the home, 44-year-old Brian Humphreys and 37-year-old Shaney Humphreys, were arrested and charged with components of explosives.
The investigation is ongoing and more charges are possible.
