Major gas leak reported near Tomball after line struck; nearby elementary school secure

Authorities are responding to a major gas leak in the Tomball area after a gas line was struck, prompting a multi-agency response Tuesday.

Deputies with Harris County Constable Precinct 4, led by Constable Mark Herman, are assisting Tomball Police Department and the Tomball Fire Department at the scene near W Lake Run Boulevard and Shaw Road.
