Suspect turns self in after allegedly stabbing man during argument

While officers were tending to the victim, a man came out of the apartment and turned himself in to police.

A man is dead after a stabbing at an apartment complex in southeast Houston Monday evening.

Houston police said the incident happened around 7:30 p.m. on March 3 in the 1200 block of Redford Street.

Officers with HPD’s Clear Lake Patrol Division were dispatched to the location for reports of a cutting.

When they arrived, they found an adult man who had been stabbed at least once. The Houston Fire Department also responded to the scene.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said preliminary information indicates the stabbing stemmed from an argument between two men. During the confrontation, one man allegedly stabbed the other.

While officers were tending to the victim, a man came out of the apartment and turned himself in to police.

The investigation remains ongoing.
