Before you buy RodeoHouston concert tickets, here’s what you need to know

Discount days also offer free admission opportunities for families

Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo officials are urging concertgoers to buy tickets only through official channels after several fans were scammed by third-party sellers last year.

In several cases, fans showed up to the show only to discover the time printed on their tickets was incorrect, meaning they missed the concert entirely and lost their money.

Rodeo officials say the safest way to avoid problems is to purchase tickets only through official platforms.

Tickets bought from third-party sellers or individuals cannot be confirmed, and the rodeo cannot assist if problems arise, according to Danielle Grossman, director of strategic communications for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

In addition to safe ticket-buying options, the rodeo is also offering several opportunities for families to save money this season.

Free Family Wednesdays are scheduled for March 4 and March 18. On those days, admission to NRG Park is free for seniors 60 and older and for children 12 and under, as long as they enter before noon.

Another chance to save comes on Community Day, March 11, when all guests can enter the grounds for free before 12 p.m.

Officials say sticking to official ticket sources and taking advantage of discount days can help fans enjoy the rodeo without costly surprises.
