HPD: 16-year-old girl killed in crossfire at Houston house party

HOUSTON – A party in southeast Houston turned deadly after a shooting broke out Saturday night.
HPD officers responded to a disturbance at the home on Dagg Road just south of the Sam Houston Parkway earlier in day.
According to police, later that night a friend took the 16-year-old girl to the hospital with a gunshot wound.
The teen passed away early Sunday morning.
Her friend told police the shooting happened at the party.
Anyone with information can call HPD or Crime Stoppers.
