Woman shot by boyfriend several times during argument at Alief apartment complex

HOUSTON – Houston Police are at an Alief apartment complex after they say a woman was shot by her boyfriend during an argument.
The shooting happened in the 10600 block of Beechnut Street.
Police say the two had been in an argument when the man shot the woman several times. He then fled the scene.
The woman was taken to a hospital, but is expected to survive, according to Lt. Larry Crowson.
Police say they know the suspect’s identity and are looking for him at this time.
