Gas leak shuts down Blackhawk Boulevard both ways in SE Harris County

A gas line was struck by a third-party contractor working on road improvements in SE Harris County, causing a major gas leak.

The leak is located near the intersection of Sageaspen and Blackhawk Boulevard.

Officials say Blackhawk Boulevard is closed in both directions near the scene of the incident.
