1 dead, another injured after shooting in north Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – The Harris County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office says two men were killed in a shooting in the north part of Harris County on Friday.

The shooting happened in the 22100 block of Greengate Drive in the Spring area.

Deputies arrived on the scene and found two men had been shot. The first man was confirmed dead at the scene. The second man was transported to a hospital, where he died.

A possible suspect in the shooting has been detained.

Authorities ask the public to avoid the area as they continue to investigate.
