3 people hospitalized after major crash in SW Houston

Three people were hospitalized following a major two-vehicle crash in southwest Houston.

The collision happened just before 3 p.m. near 8399 South Gessner Road at the intersection of the Southwest Freeway.

Of the three people hospitalized, one reportedly has life-threatening injuries.

Officials are asking drivers to avoid the area while the scene has processed.
