A large fire was seen at an apartment complex in southeast Houston Tuesday morning.
The blaze was reported at around 11:15 a.m. Tuesday morning at the Del Mar apartment complex at 10909 Gulf Freeway.

The fire was finally put out shortly before noon.
Multiple units were damaged from the fire. Sources confirmed that there were no civilian injuries associated with the fire.
One firefighter with Houston Fire Department suffered heat exhaustion and was transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluations.
Our Sky 2 Chopper was over the scene, capturing footage of a heavily burned roof with multiple exposed units.
Firefighters were in units with axes and hoses, trying to control the fires and save anyone who might have been trapped inside.
KPRC 2 is working to determine the cause of the fire. In a press conference after the fire was put out, HFD official Sedrick Robinett said HFD arson investigators are on the scene, but nothing has been confirmed at this time.
“[This was] a big fire,” Robinett said. “They want to see what the cause is and help prevent it happening again.”
