HOUSTON – Drivers in East Houston were stuck in gridlock for hours after a deadly crash involving an 18-wheeler and a pickup truck early Thursday morning. And shortly after the crash was cleared, a stalled vehicle kept part of the street closed off.
The eastbound lanes of I-10 were shut down while crews investigated. Police opened the roadway around 6 a.m., but a stalled vehicle kept the roadway closed.
It’s unclear if the stalled vehicle has anything to do with the initial crash, as of this writing.
