Multi-vehicle crash in Montgomery County causes significant delays for miles

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas – If you were passing through Montgomery County on Tuesday morning, a multi-vehicle crash caused massive backups for miles.

Details are limited, so it’s unclear how the crash unfolded, but several vehicles, including an 18-wheeler, were involved in the accident on North Freeway at SH 242, according to Houston Transtar.

The roadway cleared a little after 8:15 a.m.

The Shenandoah Police Department tells KPRC 2 it is also assisting the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas DPS to divert traffic and investigate. They have not shared information on injuries reported.
