Crews respond to fire in Galena Park

A fire broke out at a Galena Park industrial plant Tuesday morning, prompting a response from Houston firefighters.

Houston Fire Department crews responded to a fire at The Anderson’s in Galena Park early Wednesday morning.

The call came in around 8 a.m. from the plant located at 1500 South Main Street. According to HFD, no injuries were reported and no one was transported.

Firefighters remained at the scene as of late Wednesday morning to ensure the fire was fully extinguished and the area was safe.

The cause of the fire has not been released.
