Building burns in Acres Homes fire

HOUSTON – One building in the Acres Homes neighborhood was destroyed after a fire broke out.

The fire was reported Thursday afternoon in the 700 block of Fair Street in Acres Homes.

KPRC 2’s Gage Goulding is at the scene of the fire. He said there are at least 12 vehicles HFD firetrucks and ambulances at the building working to contain the blaze and help anyone involved.

KPRC 2 captured drone images of the impacted building.

The building at 750 Fair Street appears to be badly burned.

The cause of the fire and the status of those involved have not been revealed at this time.
