Two men have been arrested and charged in connection to a deadly shooting that left one man dead and another wounded inside a southeast Houston home earlier this year.
Jordan T. Smith, 32, is charged with capital murder, while Desmore Letre Modlist, 27, faces charges of capital murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to Houston police.

The shooting happened around 11:25 p.m. on February 26 at a home in the 10300 block of Dulcimer Street. Officers arrived to find two roommates with gunshot wounds.
Craig Johnson, 37, was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim, 32, was taken to a hospital.
Investigators said the suspects approached one of the victims in the driveway at gunpoint and forced their way inside. Once inside, they opened fire before fleeing in a dark SUV.
After months of investigation, Smith was arrested on April 17, and Modlist was taken into custody on May 27.
