Man killed, woman hospitalized after rollover crash in Friendswood

The Friendswood Police Department is investigating a crash that resulted in the death of one man and left a woman hospitalized in south Houston.

According to police, officers responded to a rollover accident on FM 528 near Falcon Ridge Boulevard around 1:30 a.m. this morning.

Upon arrival, officers discovered that both drivers had been involved in a serious accident and were transported to a nearby hospital.

The man was pronounced dead at the hospital, while the woman is currently in stable condition.

All lanes of FM 528 are now open as the Friendswood Police Department Crash Team continues its investigation. Motorists are advised to use FM 2351 and Friendswood Parkway as alternate routes.
