2 children hospitalized after golf cart crash in Atascocita

ATASCOCITA, Texas – Two children were hurt with one having “life-threatening” injuries after a golf cart was involved in a crash Tuesday in Atascocita.

The Harris County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office said it happened at the intersection of Silver Emperor Street and Texas Trumpet Trail in Atascocita.

According to the constable’s office, the golf cart was involved in a crash and during the crash, the juvenile passenger was thrown from the golf cart.

At the scene, a constable deputy told KPRC 2 there were actually two children injured in the crash, a boy and a girl. Their age, nor their identities, have been released at this time.

Authorities say one of the children has life-threatening injuries. They also clarified that the crash happened when the golf cart hit a curb at high speed.
