Investigators with Montgomery County Precinct 5 Constable’s Office shared a news release Sunday about Erik Taylor, 24, who worked at Magnolia West High School about some “disgruntled” social media posts he made.
“Erik appeared to be very disgruntled, as seen on several social media posts, his statements concluded with a threat to burn down the school if his demand was not met,” investigators said.
Officers reached out to Taylor and spoke to him at his home, where they later arrested him for “Terroristic Threat” after the Montgomery Co. District Attorney’s Office accepted the charges.
Magnolia ISD officials also confirmed (via Montgomery Co. officials) students are safe to return to campus and all regular school activities will resume as scheduled Monday.
