Deputies were called to a home in the Aldine area just after 11:45 p.m. on William Tell Street off Little York.

Sgt. Richie with HCSO’s Homicide Division said an unidentified 19-year-old man and his younger brother (about 17 years old) were shot. We’re told the older brother died from his injuries, while the younger brother was rushed to a hospital and was last said to be in stable condition.

It’s unclear what led up to the shooting i.e. if it was accidental or intentional, but Sgt. Ritchie says there were at least 6 - 8 people inside the house when it happened, and everyone is cooperating with the investigation.
