HOUSTON – Investigators are looking into what led up to a deadly crash early Wednesday morning in west Houston, where flames spread to a nearby building.
It happened around 4:45 when Houston police were called to a major accident on Westheimer and South Dairy Ashford Road. At least three cars were involved in the crash, one of which caught on fire and the flames spread to a business nearby.
Police confirmed someone died but it’s unclear how many or how they died as the investigation is still in the preliminary stages.
No additional details have been shared, but KPRC 2 reporter Brittany Jeffers and photojournalist Xavier James will be headed to the scene to find out what happened.
