A Houston woman faces intoxication manslaughter charges after allegedly striking and killing a man changing his tire on the Katy Freeway.
Maggie Anne Louise Weber, 29, now faces an intoxication manslaughter charge related to the incident and was previously charged with driving while intoxicated in May, marking her second DWI offense.
The incident happened in the early hours of May 25, when police say Lee Rodgers was struck by Weber’s vehicle as he attempted to change a tire on his black Kia Sportage near Central Park West Blvd.

Witnesses reported that Rodgers had just finished replacing the defective tire and was placing it in his trunk when he was struck by a white Lexus RX350.
Paramedics arrived quickly, but Rodgers was pronounced dead at the scene.
Weber, who remained at the scene, reportedly showed signs of intoxication.
