How safe do university students in Houston feel? What can be done to protect students better?

HOUSTON – In light, of gun violence at Houston’s two biggest universities, KPRC 2 wants to know how you as a student feel about security.

On Tuesday, University of Houston students said they felt unsafe and called for heightened security after an armed robbery at a dorm room at one of the Moody Towers.
The armed robbery came as Rice University students continue to mourn the death of Andrea Rodriguez Avila, a junior from Maryland killed in an apparent murder-suicide in her dorm at Jones College.
So, what do you as a student feel can be done better? Do you believe enough is being done to protect you and your peers?
