Driver dies after crashing into bayou in SW Houston

A driver died early Sunday morning after crashing their vehicle into a bayou in southwest Houston . The incident happened around 3:52 a.m. at 7900 block of Harwin.
Houston police reported that the vehicle was traveling eastbound on Harwin when it collided with a concrete retaining wall and fence, ultimately plunging into the bayou. The force of the crash ejected the driver, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are investigating the crash, and no other vehicles were involved. The name of the driver has not been released at this moment.
