Houston police looking for 2 suspects after teen shot and killed in apparent robbery at apartment complex

Houston police are on the search for two men who shot and killed a 17-year-old in west Houston last week.
The shooting happened in the 1600 block of Briar Forest on Friday, June 7 around 8 p.m.
Police said the teen, who lived with his girlfriend, was followed home by two men believed to be in their 20s.
Initially, investigators said they believed the shooting was drug-related, but later learned the two suspects stole the teen’s jewelry before fatally shooting him.

The suspects fled the scene on foot. Anyone with information is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
