The suspect, 40-year-old Rafielle Andrews, has been charged with one count of murder and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

According to officials, Andrews flagged down a man and woman as they drove by and stabbed them both after they stopped. The woman was able to flee with injuries, but the male collapsed in his driveway after driving home and was pronounced dead by EMS.

Police were unable to calm Andrews down at the scene, but they were finally able to subdue and arrest him without further violence.

Authorities believe that Andrews has a history of mental illness, and records confirmed that his criminal history spans more than two decades.

Andrews has been charged with multiple violent crimes dating back to 1999, including aggravated robbery, assault causing bodily injury and injury to a child under the age of 15.

Andrews did not appear in court today, but his charges were read by a judge, and he was given a $350,000 bond.

According to yesterday’s report, officials believe Andrews was visiting family at the time of the stabbings, and right now we don’t know what led to the attack.
