3 hurt in flash fire at Galena Park chemical plant

GALENA PARK, Texas – Three people have been injured in a flash fire at a chemical plant in Galena Park.

The Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office is helping local first responders.

HCFMO Hazmat and Investigation teams are working with the Galena Park Fire Department in response to at the Kinder Morgan Terminal in the 1500 block of Clinton Drive.

The three victims have been transported for medical care.

There is no longer an active fire, and the departments are moving forward with an investigation.
