HOUSTON – Police are investigating what has only been described as “some sort of transaction” between teenagers in southwest Houston Wednesday night that made a robbery victim turn the tables on his attackers.

Officers with Houston PD were called to the 7700 block of Corporate Dr. off Bellaire Blvd in Chinatown a little before 11 p.m. That’s where investigators said they found an unidentified young man dead from several gunshots.

Another young man, authorities said, was found and appeared to be badly beaten. Initial details shared are it all started with “some sort of transaction” between the young man and two other teens, but things went sideways and the two started beating him with brass knuckles.

The unidentified victim was then forced to go to his home and grab some belongings, but that’s when his mother met him at the door with a gun. The two attackers then threatened his mother, while demanding his belongings, so he shot at them.

No additional details were shared, but an investigation remains underway.
