The mother, Consuelo Dal Bo, 56, and her 18-year-old daughter Isabella Dal Bo, were arrested separately but are both facing charges related to unlawful medical practice.

The sting, conducted by the Houston Police Department, took place at a temporary residence on Eastern Meadowlark Way near Telge.

According to investigators, the Dal Bos charged $6,000 per procedure and allegedly performed the injections immediately after arriving in Texas from California.

During the sting operation, authorities reported confiscating bags that contained illegal injectables and medical equipment.

Officers from HPD’s Major Offenders Division and agents from the FDA and Homeland Security Investigations worked to arrest the pair.

The women were under the impression they were going to a private residence to meet a client. Instead, they were met with officers.

Additionally, they tried to give the client -- who was the undercover officer -- Xanax to relax before the injections.

Documents show that the women were “not even sure what was in the bottles.”

Both Consuelo and Isabella were released on bond. Their next court date is set for April 10.

A more serious situation involving illegal injections was documented back in 2021 where a woman was charged with manslaughter after someone died from the illegal silicone buttock injections.
