HOUSTON – The family of a missing man with autism released further details Monday surrounding his disappearance, believing that he is in danger.
It’s been officially 24 hours since a missing person’s report was filed for 20-year-old Austin Stone.
Stone was last seen in the 2700 block of Argos Drive in Missouri City on Saturday. He has been diagnosed with autism.
Family and friends have joined law enforcement in the active search. The family said it has also reached out to the Texas EquuSearch for assistance.
The family said Stone has never disappeared before and there was nothing that would make him want to leave. Before his disappearance, his parents reportedly found out that he recently downloaded the Discord app on his phone. He also reportedly left his cellphone behind.
Family believed that he got into a black sedan with his Xbox. They believe that someone may have lured him away using the Discord app .
He was last seen wearing blue joggers and a light gray hoodie with gray blue trimmed sneakers.
