Burglar bursts into Houston CBD shop, swipes products off shelves

HOUSTON – A local CBD shop was broken into in the middle of the night.

The owners of Infuse Me CBD in the First Ward say their business was broken into and their products were stolen on Monday around 11:30 p.m.

Security cameras were recording when a man tried getting in the front door. When that didn’t work, he picked up a stool and smashed in the front door.

“Then he picked it up and he started bam! Bam! Bam,” said the owner of Infuse Me CBD, Trena Arredondo.

Meanwhile, she was upstairs sleeping when she heard the ruckus downstairs. The mom-and-pop CBD shop is attached to their home on Beachton Street.

Arredondo ran outside to confront the man, who just got done clearing products off their shelves.

“Get the f*** out of my house,” Arredondo is heard screaming in security camera video. “Your motherf*****, the cops are on the way. You son of a b****.”

“I really didn’t know what to do other than, ‘Dude. What are you doing?’ But I really wasn’t quite that nice,” she told KPRC 2 News.

The alleged burglar took off out the back of the business. Seconds later, Arredondo’s husband runs down and they both take off after the man.

However, the suspect got away.

“Shame on that guy, you know? Shame on him,” said Arredondo.

The Houston Police Department is investigating the burglary.
