RECALL ALERT: Children’s cups sold on Amazon recalled due to excessive levels of lead

Recalled CUPKIN Double-Walled Stainless Steel Children’s Cups (CPSC)

HOUSTON – Parents pay attention! If you have recently purchased Soojimus CUPKIN Stainless Steel Children’s Cups, take them away now.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission said over 300,000 units sold on Amazon were recalled on July 20 due to “levels that exceed the federal lead content ban.”

No injuries have been reported, per CPSC.

The cups are sold in pairs and in 12 different color combinations for $20.

Customers who purchase the cups must keep them away from children and contact Soojimus for a full refund. Amazon is also working with the company to contact purchasers directly.

Customers can contact Soojimus toll-free at 888-721-0096 Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. PT, email at CPSC@Cupkin.com, or online at Cupkin.com and click on “Voluntary Recall of our Kids Cups” at the top of the page for more information or on their website and click on recall refund to fill out the Recall Refund Request form and click “Submit Form” at the bottom of page when you have completed the form.
