Traffic alert: Heavy truck fire stalls traffic on I-45 N southbound at Tidwell

HOUSTON – A heavy truck accident and fire temporarily shut down multiple lanes on I-45 North southbound at Tidwell Road, according to Houston Transtar.

Transtar showed that the right shoulder, right lane, center lane and two frontage road lanes, in addition to the exit ramp, were affected.

The single-vehicle accident happened at 12:30 p.m. It was cleared later that afternoon.

It was not known if there were any injuries.
