HOUSTON – An investigation is underway after two people were found dead inside shipping containers in north Houston, according to police.

Police said it happened in the 1300 block of Neiman Lane near West Tidwell Road at around 8:10 a.m.

A neighbor at the Bhakti Urban Farm tells KPRC 2′s Rilwan Balogun that gunshots were heard as early as 3:25 a.m.

According to police, officers were called to a gas station at the corner of Wheatley and Neiman after receiving reports of the suspect waving his gun inside in front of people. He apparently yelled out that he allegedly killed two people down the street on Neiman Lane before he was taken into custody.

Later, police said the suspect directed officers to a nearby area with shipping containers, where he allegedly stored the two bodies.

Investigators said one of the victims, a woman, appeared to be recently killed, while the other victim, a man, appeared dead for a number of hours.

Police are looking for a woman for questioning after she was reportedly injured in the shooting.

Police believe there may have been a group of people living within the containers.
