3 teens shot following argument outside NE Houston home, HPD says

HOUSTON – Three teenagers were hospitalized Saturday following a shooting that stemmed from an argument near Fifth Ward Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.

The shooting happened in the 900 block of Henke Street, near Kress Street, around noon.

According to police, at least five people were standing outside a home when an unknown number of suspects pulled up in a tan Ford Fusion.

Some sort of argument occurred and someone from inside the vehicle opened fire, police said.

One 16-year-old and two 17-year-olds were struck by bullets.

They were all taken to the hospital, each said to be in stable condition.

The suspected gunman is only described as a Hispanic male.

No further details were immediately available.
