Possible bomb threat happening at Hobby Airport

1. Mother’s body discovered by her ex-husband, their 2 kids in her garage, Montgomery Co., deputies say

A woman was found dead at her home in Montgomery County on Wednesday evening, according to authorities.

Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office say they responded to a welfare check call from the woman’s ex-husband around 5 p.m.

When authorities arrived at the 25500 block of White Oak Lane, they reportedly found her dead body in the garage with an apparent gunshot wound.

She was later identified as 41-year-old Holly Vines.

2. Man charged with murder after shooting his supervisor to death inside Greenway Plaza office building, court documents say

The man accused of shooting his supervisor to death at an office building in Greenway Plaza has been charged with murder, the Houston Police Department confirmed Wednesday.

HPD and the Houston Fire Department responded to reports of an active shooter situation at a business located in the 3800 block of Cummins around 11:58 a.m.

Authorities said an employee, who has been identified in court documents as Montavius Terrell Wright, 26, shot his supervisor, who was identified as Doran Kelly, in the head while on the 10th floor of the office building. Kelly was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.

3. Family demands justice after 31-year-old’s murder in South Houston

The family of Raymundo Alzamora, 31, is asking for the public’s help in finding the person responsible for shooting and killing him.

Alzamora’s wife Jasmine Vega said he was shot on Sunday, March 13 near the intersection of Avenue N and 17th Street while driving a U-Haul truck.

“He was shot,” she said. “They shot towards the U-Haul, and he must have lost consciousness and hit the pawnshop.”

Vega said the South Houston Police Department is investigating the case and believes it may be road rage related.

4. Hobby Airport evacuation renders no explosives after K-9 hits unattended bag, police say

Houston police were investigating a possible threat at William P. Hobby Airport Wednesday afternoon.

According to HPD, around 5 p.m., a K-9 unit had a hit for possible explosives in an unattended bag near the Alamo reservation counter near Carousel Three in the baggage claim area.

Police then established a 300-foot perimeter around the scene. The area was also evacuated for safety.

5. Caught on camera: Man says driver intentionally crashed into his Tesla, causing more than 1K worth of damage

A road rage incident was caught on camera after a man said another driver’s actions caused him to crash his Tesla. Now, the Tesla driver wants the person to pay for the damages.

Fabio Brasil Da Costa is thankful he wasn’t hurt in the hit and run.

He said he’s seen the senseless road rage incidents happening around the Houston area before but never thought it would happen to him.
