HOUSTON – A year ago, Justin Verlander was on top of the world after becoming a World Series champ along with the Houston Astros and tying the knot with his wife, Kate Upton.
Upton reflected on their marriage in an Instagram post by saying this year has been the best year of her life, being married to her best friend.
Verlander also posted on Instagram, saying he feels like the "luckiest man in the world" to have married his best friend.
Although the Astros didn't win the World Series this year, Verlander and Upton have a lot to celebrate as they prepare for the birth of their first child together.
