Investigators said Mesa-Sanchez contacted the girl through Snapchat.

The child's parents found the conversations and alerted authorities.

The conversations were sexual in nature, and Mesa-Sanchez sent pornographic videos and images, as well as a photo of his driver's license so the girl would know who he was.

Investigators set up a meeting between Mesa-Sanchez and the girl at 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Mesa-Sanchez, believing he was meeting the child, arrived at the meeting location and was taken into custody without incident, according to authorities.

Mesa-Sanchez is being held on a $10,000 bond.
