Explosion at Magnolia home severely injures man

MAGNOLIA, Texas – A man was severely injured Tuesday in an explosion at a home in Magnolia.

The blast was reported about 11:40 p.m. at a home in the 31100 block of Timberloch Trail.

Montgomery County deputies said the man was at the home at the time of the explosion. He was taken to a hospital, but his condition was not immediately released.

Deputies said both the bomb squad and the Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office are investigating the cause of the explosion.
