PEARLAND, Texas – A worker suffered serious injuries Tuesday after falling about 15 feet at a factory in Pearland, according to authorities.

The incident was reported about 6 a.m. at the Galperti factory at 160 Southbelt Industrial Drive.

A spokeswoman for the Pearland Fire Department said the worker fell under a large machine, which complicated rescue efforts.

The worker was rescued and flown to Memorial Hermann Hospital in stable condition, officials said.
