HOUSTON – People may soon see a change to Houston's downtown skyline.
The illuminated crosses on a Pierce Elevated building may soon be coming down.
Houston-based commercial real estate firm Boxer Property has announced its affiliate's acquisition of St. Joseph Professional Building at 2000 Crawford Street.
The building will be renamed as part of future renovations.
Renovations will include upgraded elevator cabs, lobby, restrooms, lighting and boiler/chillers.
Boxer Property intends to make additional improvements to the property's interior and exterior in the near future, which could include removing the iconic crosses.
