Man injured, woman on the run after shooting in Northwest Houston
HOUSTON – A man was injured in a shooting at an apartment complex in Northwest Houston .
Police said a man and woman got into an argument at a gathering at the apartment complex on Sherwood Lane near Helberg Road at about 9:30 p.m. Saturday.
“Some sort of altercation took place which led to the suspect producing a firearm and using it on our victim,” said Lt. Ali.
Police said the man was shot in the wrist and stomach.
He underwent surgery and was believed to be in stable condition.
The shooter fled the scene, and it was unclear if she had been arrested.
