GRANGERLAND – A Montgomery County Precinct 4 deputy constable is recovering from injuries he suffered during a chase.
According to investigators, the deputy spotted a man on a stolen motorcycle in a parking lot off FM 1485 near Vick in New Caney around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The biker led the officer on a chase into Grangerland before stopping in the post office parking lot and fleeing on foot, authorities said.
The deputy tackled the driver, but severely injured his leg.
Investigators identified the suspect as Darren Reese, 23.
Deputies said they found drugs and burglary tools in a backpack in Reese's possession.
