HOUSTON – Officials are searching for a man wanted for aggravated sexual assault of a child on Oct. 20, 1997.
Police said Deandrea Miller, 40, forced his way into a home in the 6200 block of Berkridge Drive, turned off the electricity in the house and entered the bedroom where a juvenile was sleeping.
Officials said Miller then covered the child's face and sexually assaulted her.
Miller was later identified through investigative evidence.
He is described as black, 5 feet 4 inches tall and 180 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos on his right shoulder.
